Hello Zuidas Member Meeting Station Zuid *Members only*

Beste lezer ,

Graag nodigen we je uit voor onze Member Meeting op donderdag 23 november. Tijdens deze Member Meeting zal de realisatie van Station Zuid en haar omgeving centraal staan.

Station Zuid is het snelst groeiende station van Nederland en hard op weg het een na grootste station van Amsterdam te worden. Het ligt nu nog ingeklemd tussen de rijbanen van de A10 Zuid, maar als deze straks ondergronds gaan, ontstaat ruimte voor uitbreiding. De openbare ruimte rondom het station krijgt een nieuwe inrichting met pleinen en wandel- en fietsroutes. Daarbij is veel aandacht voor groen.
Komende jaren staan er veel werkzaamheden gepland, om tot dit eindresultaat te komen. Zo wordt de nieuwe Benjamin Brittenpassage geopend en de huidige Minerva Passage langdurig gesloten. Wat betekent dit voor jou als werkgever, werknemer, reiziger?
Wat kunnen we de komende jaren aan bouwactiviteit verwachten? Hoe gaat de (tijdelijke) inrichting van de openbare ruimte en looproutes rondom het station eruit zien? Welke overlast gaat dit geven voor reizigers, omliggende kantoren, winkels en horeca? Hoe staat het met de bereikbaarheid en beschikbaarheid van de stationsvoorzieningen, ticket verkoop en fietsparkeren, tijdens de verschillende fasen van de bouw? In hoeverre staat de beschikbaarheid en capaciteit van bus, tram en metro op Station Zuid onder druk?

Tijdens deze Member Meeting schetsen Projectorganisatie Zuidasdok, NS Stations en het GVB een beeld wat jou en andere members te wachten staat. Daarbij is er veel ruimte voor vragen en suggesties. We sluiten af met een borrel.

We would like to invite you to our Member Meeting on Thursday, November 23. During this Member Meeting, Station Zuid and its surroundings will be central.

Station Zuid is the fastest growing station in the Netherlands and is becoming the second largest station in Amsterdam. It is currently wedged between the carriageways of the A10 South, but if they soon go underground, there will be room for expansion. The public space around the station will be redesigned with squares and walking and cycling routes. A lot of attention is paid to greenery.
There will be a lot of work to achieve this end result in the coming years. For example, the new Benjamin Brittenpassage will be opened and the current Minerva Passage will be closed for a long time. What does this mean for you as an employer, employee, traveler?
What can we expect in terms of construction activity in the upcoming years? What will the (temporary) design of the public space and walking routes around the station look like? What inconvenience will this cause for travelers, surrounding offices, shops and catering establishments? What is the status of the accessibility and availability of station facilities, ticket sales and bicycle parking during the various phases of construction? What is the availability and capacity of buses, trams and metro at South Station during this time?

By engaging in discussion during our Member Meeting with Zuidasdok, de Nederlandse Spoorwegen and the GVB, we hope to provide a clear picture of what awaits our members. We conclude with drinks and bites.
